Who controls your data?
AuroraBus operates the public website at aurorabus.eu, the AuroraBus Driver Panel and related community services. For questions or data-protection requests, contact info@aurorabus.eu.
AuroraBus is a virtual coach community. This notice describes the processing carried out through our own website and panel. External platforms such as Discord and TruckersMP operate under their own privacy terms.
Information we process
Depending on how you use AuroraBus, we may process:
- Discord identity data: Discord user ID, username, display name, avatar, server membership and roles received through Discord sign-in.
- Driver profile data: career rank, division membership, role assignments, join dates, XP, distance and activity statistics.
- Waybill data: departure and destination, odometer values, timestamps, vehicle information, screenshots or evidence links, review decisions and reviewer notes.
- Community and management data: support messages, moderation records, panel bans, audit logs and role-synchronisation results.
- Technical data: session identifiers, timestamps, security logs, IP address and browser or device information where generated by the web server.
Why we process information
Authenticate users, maintain accounts, display statistics and operate digital Waybills.
Manage divisions, career progression, Discord roles, events and staff permissions.
Prevent abuse, investigate false submissions, enforce rules and protect accounts.
Respond to support, privacy and account-related enquiries.
Processing may be based on performance of the requested community service, legitimate interests in operating and protecting AuroraBus, compliance with legal obligations, or consent where consent is specifically requested.
How long information is kept
- Active account and career data is generally retained while the AuroraBus account remains active.
- Waybills, review records and audit logs may be retained for operational history, statistics, dispute handling and anti-abuse purposes.
- Temporary login sessions expire automatically or are deleted when you sign out.
- Panel-ban records may remain for the duration of the ban and afterwards where needed to document enforcement.
Where a deletion request is accepted, information is removed or anonymised unless retention remains necessary for legal, security or legitimate record-keeping reasons.
Your data-protection rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, and you may object to certain processing. Where processing is based on consent, consent may be withdrawn for future processing.
Send requests to info@aurorabus.eu. We may need to verify that the request relates to your account. You may also contact the competent data-protection authority, including Hungary's National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH).
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures such as authenticated sessions, permission checks, access logging and encrypted HTTPS connections where available. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so users should protect their Discord accounts and immediately report suspected unauthorised access.
Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when AuroraBus features, providers or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of the page identifies the current version. Significant changes may also be announced through the website or Discord.
